Introducing Campaign Telemetry

Myles Madden1 min read

Every time I read content about how to create high-impact campaigns, I walk away feeling overwhelmed by another “X is dead”statement, theoretical framework, or strategic advice that just doesn’t feel applicable to my situation. And I’ve heard enough marketers say the same thing to know I’m not alone, which is exactly why many of us have quietly started tuning out.

But here’s the problem: consuming less isn’t making us better.

There is no shortage of advice in this industry. But for some of us, it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to actually applying it to our day-to-day. In my own career, I’ve found I’m best when I study what great campaigns actually look like up close. Not just the strategy behind it, but the creative decisions, the timing, the positioning, and the way it all came together. That’s the bridge I’ve always needed between inspiration and action, and I know I’m not the only one.

That’s what Campaign Telemetry is built to be. A library of exceptional marketing campaigns in the cybersecurity space, broken down in a way that’s easy to learn from and bring back to your own work. A complement to the strategic conversations already happening in the industry. And a place to celebrate the marketers who are quietly doing incredible work.

There are three “rules of the road” for Campaign Telemetry:

  1. Every week, a campaign analysis post will go live.

  2. Built for the busy marketer: read front-to-back, take the shortcut with a pre-built ChatGPT summary, or listen to the audio version.

  3. Three winners will be awarded “Campaign of the Quarter” the first day of every fiscal quarter and will receive a personalized Funko Pop.

Lastly, if you’d like to submit a campaign for potential inclusion, DM me on Substack or LinkedIn. I’m glad you’re here. And keep up the great work :)
